I bought the under desk exercise bike because I’m temporarily confined to a wheelchair and find it difficult to get any cardio exercise. This little contraption does the job nicely. It was super easy to assemble. The display shows time, distance, step count, total step count over the life of the battery, and calories burned. It’s my understanding that calories burned is not necessarily accurate, and I don’t have an issue with this because that isn’t my focus. The distance however, is one of the metrics I focus on, and I believe this one is wildly off. I can hike up a mountain and do a 20 minute mile. I can do a 15 minute mile on flat terrain. No matter how fast I pedal on this thing, a 30 minute workout shows a distance of a third of a mile. If the distance were more accurate, I’d give this bike 5 stars instead of 4.

bought this for a family member with knee problems and after exercising with this mini exercise bike for a few days the ability to move the knee has improved and knee pain has reduced. This is great for easy muscle exercise and to keep the joints flexible. Pedal resistance is adjustable and the bike is sturdy during use. We now have two of these and love them.

I love it! Once I got through the first week of keeping it together, I have has zero issues. If you find issues, you just gotta try a different way of connecting parts and itll work.

I’m preparing for knee replacement surgery and my orthopedic doctor told me to get one of these and start using now and continue after my surgery. So I followed my doctors orders. For the price you can’t beat it. Easy to put together, very light weight to move around to where I’m sitting, and has a handy handle to pickup. All good stuff. In peddling it does have a little catch sometimes instead of being a smooth movement forward, but not to bad. I recommend it for per-op.

I have no time to write product reviews, but I felt the urge to write this one because it’s rare to find a low-cost item that can be as useful and as beneficial to one’s health as this one.

We, the many, who work at a desk, whether it be at home or at work, are slowly killing ourselves when we keep our ever-expanding duffs in a chair. Study after study has shown that movement during the day, preferably every 30 minutes, lowers blood sugar, heart-rate, and blood pressure, and improves one’s metabolism and mood, among other things.

I work at a standing desk, so I stand until my legs get tired, then sit until my back aches. Then I stand back up, sit down, etc., repeating this cycle throughout the day. This is good for my health while standing because I make an effort to move around (dancing, bending and unbending my knees, etc.). But while I’m sitting down I’m doing nothing but adding to my never-shrinking waistline.

Enter the mini exercise bike. This product has added movement to my sitting time. I bought the Himaly version, and found it quick and simple to assemble, and easy to use. I have been using it for a couple of days now, and have already felt the results. What are those results? My thighs ache, and this is a good muscle ache, not the I-broke-my-hip ache.

So why a four-star instead of a five-star review? Because I found two complaints about this device to be true:

      1. It moves around when you pedal.
      2. The calorie-counting screen is rubbish.

That said, for me these are tiny problems. Yes, the mini-bike moves when I pedal, but only a tiny bit (it is on a carpeted floor), and when it is pushed too far away I simply pick it up with my feet (which are in pedal straps — see pic) and move it back in place.

And regarding the inaccurate calorie-counting screen? Who cares?! Are any of these counters correct, even on a $3000 Peloton? I don’t think so.

What matters to me is that after spending only a little bit of money I can now get some exercise while planting my butt in a chair, and that has made all the difference.

All instructions are in a foreign language! If we can’t get English instructions we’ll have to return it! Found eight pages in the very front of the instruction booklet in English. Put the Cycle together and are using it.

we purchased one of these mini exercise bikes for my husbands knee replacement therapy. It works great for him and I am now benefiting from it as well. Just peddle away while you watch TV or while you are working you can get exercise at the same time.

this is not bad little exerciser, be aware that it WILL move around when you first try it, and you will think its useless…the key is to anchor it to something! I’ve got it zip tied around a bar underneath my desk and once you have it anchored to something it works just fine, I suppose you could even anchor it to piece of plywood if you needed to…

Mine just came in today. VERY easy to assemble. I have carpet,so it dosen’t move at all. I have back issues, so standing and walking is a problem sometimes, so I decides to try this out. I have a fitbit ,and it counts my steps too. I’m doing barefoot, so I have it closer to my sofa so my feet don’t slip out. Over all day one I’m happy with my purchase.
